Bit later start today at 1020 hrs as busy playing with Birthday presents. We met a few boaters on the way and just through Home Park lock CRT were loading Diving equipment onto a large flat being pushed by a tug.
We stopped for lunch just before Lady Capel’s Bridge for lunch.
The bridge is scaffolded out at the moment for more refurbishment, it was last done by the IWA in 2013 We continued on past the old mill that looks very fine in the afternoon sun.
We went as far as lock 78 Cassio Bridge Lock to fill with water, a slight problem finding the waterpoint as there was a car moored in front of it and its only just before the lock. Once the tank was full we reversed back up the canal through the bridge to moor for the night just after 4pm
