Well no photos today as the camera didn’t save them. these would have included a Grebe with a small fish in its beak, I fine collection of sheep, and where we winded on the River Lark plus the deserted EA moorings.
We set off at half nine back upstream through Littleport to the River Lark. There were a few boats about but very little considering its a Bank Holiday. Its typical Bank Holiday weather, overcast, cold and a few spots of rain, lets hope it bucks up a bit for tomorrows pageant on the Thames. Once through Littleport we turned left up the River Lark and filled with water at Prickwillow EA moorings. We continued upstream for another half a mile before winding with my bow stuffed in a pump discharge sluice. We then dropped back to the EA moorings outside the Prickwillow pump museum where we have spent a couple of hours this afternoon.
