Atherstone Locks

We set off at about 1430hrs and had a short stop at the marina office to confirm that our temporary car registration number had been logged as the carparking is CCTV monitored. Once that was done we were on our way to Atherston locks, The journey took us just 2 hours and we only met one boat on the way, although a boat did come down the locks after we had moored up. There are a lot of leaves in the water now and we had to throw them off the prop several times to make progress.
You will notice the map is a bit different, I have just got a new computer and its giving me problems, so for now the route is on a google map. Also Open Live Writer is not set up right so the formatting may be outMap 1

Todays Journey 5¼ miles in2 hours
