Home moorings Tuesday 2 October 2018

It was a bit warm in the boat last night, we should really have put the stove off before we went to bed. Overnight we had heavy rain but it had stop by this morning.

It was 1015 hrs planning to get to the tunnel just after 1100 hrs to go through at 1130 hrs. in the end we arrived at the tunnel at 1045 hrs so went straight through. When we left the other end it was raining and this continued most of the way back to the moorings.
Just south of Anderton this Kingfisher very obligingly sat and posed for me so I took several shots of it, the last one just as it took off. Please click them to enlarge the shots.

The rest of the trip back to the moorings was uneventful with the rain easing as we arrived which helped as I reversed down to out mooring.

We were away in the car a little after 1400 hrs and had a reasonable drive home with no diversions.

Today's JourneyCapture 8½ miles in 3¼ hours
