Last night was bright moon light so I tried to get a photo before going to bed.
This morning was quite low clouds, the planes kept disappearing into the bottoms of them. As we had a long way to go we were off in good time at 8 45am. As we made our way across the flash we were accompanied by a large fish, we didn't see the fish but the ripples running across the surface.
As we approached our marina a Heron landed on the pipe bridge a short way down the canal.
As there wasn't a breath of wind so I decided to wind in the marina entrance and go in stern first, a slight wriggle to the right and then down between the pontoons. We finally moored up at 9 40am.
Today's Journey
This trip has only been 7 days long, but in that time we have done 47 miles and 72 locks, the map below shows where we have been.
